How does Wyty.com work?
Wyty.com is an "Opt In" website. The user registers their information and then has access to the directory. Wyty.com focuses on the mobile phone number but allows users to look up other contact information such as VoIP and other contact information.
What does it cost to use Wyty.com?
Accessing the Mobile Phone Directory is FREE; all you have to do is Register. There are other services that Wyty.com may offer in the future that are fee based. Just like your phone book, Wyty.com will not charge for accessing its listings online.
Is Wyty.com safe?
Yes. Wyty.com does not give out, sell or release your personal information unless requested by you. Wyty.com also gives you the ability to designate what information is viewable by all users. Wyty.com uses SSL encryption and necessary security policies to create a safe environment.
Do I have to be a Registered User to access the directory?
You will be able to view listings in the directory, but to access their full contact information you will have to be a Registered User of Wyty.com. To register you must provide a valid email address, complete the information you want published and you are on your way!
Is my email address safe?
Wyty.com will not publish your email address in the directory. Your email address will be used for username only.
Can't remember a number?
Wyty gives you ability to look up a mobile phone number with the ease of using the web. You will have free access to the first Cell Phone/VoIP Directory. Anywhere you have access to the internet you have access to the online Mobile Phone Directory.
Telemarketers and the Do Not Call List
The FCC enforces the "Do Not Call" list, by registering this will protect you from getting any unwanted telemarketers soliciting you via the phone. Remember, this protects you from getting calls only on the number you register, so if you have more than one register them all!
What happens if a Telemarketer calls me after I register?
If a complaint is filed telemarketers can be fined up to $11,000 per incident.
